The Flexxgenix Duplex is the ultimate structural solution for multi-level modeling. This 30″ x 12″ module provides two fixed decks within a 12″ total height, allowing you to run a scenic upper section and a functional lower section simultaneously.

Note: These modules are Made to Order. To ensure the highest precision and material quality, each Duplex kit is laser-cut specifically for your project. Please see our lead times below.

Available in Two Specifications:

Standard Lite : 6mm Poplar Throughout. Perfect for ultra-portable exhibition layouts where weight is the priority.

Heavy-Duty : 9mm Poplar Bases / 6mm Poplar Sides. Added deck thickness for heavier scales (O Gauge/009) or dense plaster scenery.

Bridging Modules

Also available are basic single level boards 30″ x 12″ x 2.3″ which can be used as either extension pieces or bridging modules between 2 Duplex double deck modules.

Dual-Level Construction: Two fixed Model Railway Duplex decks with a 9″ (235mm) vertical clearance.

Protected Sub-Deck Space: A 2.3″ (60mm) sub-frame area beneath the lower deck protects your point motors and wiring.

Engineered Bracing: Full-height notched transoms and reinforced end-bracing ensure the vertical structure remains square.

Anti-Crush End Plates: Specifically designed to withstand the clamping pressure of alignment bolts without deforming.

Shipping: Tracked UK courier delivery. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on volume.

Q: Is this compatible with other Flexxgenix modules?

A: By default, the Duplex is a standalone design. However, if you are integrating it into an existing Flexxgenix system, please let us know when ordering and we can adapt the module to be fully compatible with our standard range.

Q: Can I get a wider version?

A: Yes! We offer bespoke widths for the Duplex module up to 30″ wide. This is a great option for large-scale modeling or complex junction areas. Please [Message Us] for a quote on bespoke widths.

Q: What is the clearance for trains on the lower deck?

A: There is  9″ (230mm) of clearance between the lower and upper decks, providing plenty of room for locomotives, rolling stock, and scenery. However bespoke heights can be considered, just  [Message Us].
